It's funny.. Since I signed up for deviantArt in January 2006, I never really thought I'd end up being on the site so often.. I actually started to really be 'active' since June 2008. *blush*

So why is this? I drew once in a while, and taped it. (You can watch me draw old portraits at http://youtube.com/niimf) Doodled some in my college notebooks, but didn't really focus on drawing.

Now things has changed. I'm really passionate about drawing again. The last time I was this way, was when I was a toddler, and drew all over our wall, on important business paper of my father, and my mother recipe-books :giggle: What a fun time. :love:

Some of you may know I'm studying Economics at a University in Amsterdam. Firstly, I consciously chose to study International Business and Management (mostly focused on Asia) because I kind of like Economics. Secondly, I don't want to 'force' myself to draw when I don't feel like it. If an artschool would assign me projects with deadlines for portraits, I would rush and wouldn't be motivated to draw either. Anyone else have this problem, or is it just me?

I'm kind of an Japanesedrama addict. (A dutch/indonesian/yemeni girl who lives in the Netherlands, go figure..) I'm watching 'One litre of tears' for the 3rd time now (the series.. and YES, I have watched all 11 of them twice:P) and I must say.. One litre of tears, literally.. Even guys will cry over this drama. :love:

Hi Guys!

I've lots going on. I'll be moving to Malaysia for 6months. I'll be there from December08 until June09. I'll be studying there :) After that, I'll move to Indonesia for 6months for a traineeship. So I'm busy busy busy! Preparing for stuff, get my things in order.

Long story short, I won't be drawing for a while now. I simply don't have any time :( Maybe when I'm bored in the plane, or when I'm already in Malaysia!

Hey guys,

sorry I've been inactive for such a long time.. And I'm afraid I will still be for a little while longer. Thank you guys for all the sweet and awesome comments you guys left me, and if I didn't reply; i'm sorry!

I'm traveling Asia now and I'll go back home (To the Netherlands) in the beginning of July. I haven't drawn a lot since I am away but I'm planning to go ballistic when I have the time again =)

Due to lack of time, I will only paint and sketch on canvas.
Drawing portraits can still be negotiated though.

Hi kids!

Just to update some of you..
It really has been way too long since I was active on dA *shame*. I've been travelling in Asia from 2008 until 2009 and I had my traineeship at LOreal Pays-Bas from 2009 until 2010.
Currently busy with my thesis and hopefully soon I will be graduated!

Thus, the last 2 years were really only dedicated to my education, (I'm studying Int Business and Management *lol) but since everything is running smoothly I have some time to create art again! =D

I read all your sweet sweeet comments on youtube and dA! Thank you!

So erhmm.. yeah.. I'm kinda back?

Hi guys!

It seems that I apologize for my lack of absence in every post. Sorry :( I've been super busy. I just graduated from my University and I'm officially a BBA-graduate!

I'm done with school for now thus I got some time left for drawing and painting. It's not like I haven't been drawing or painting since my last post here on dA. I was busy with commissions too. It's just that those were personal requests/photos etc thus I can't just post them on DeviantArt =(
